Welcome to our Decorative Custom Mantel site. Elite Construction of Jax, Inc was founded in 1993 by David Furukawa. Over the years we have built many decorative custom mantels. Often we find that by the time the trim carpenter arrives to build a mantel, the walls are framed, the drywall is finished with the firebox affixed to the framing. Unfortunately the space remaining will not accommodate 8-10 inch of non-combustible surface, a minimum of 5 1/2 inch leg and 4 inch of crown cantilever. Therefore, something must be sacrificed and usually the end product results are out of proportion. By creating five masterpiece mantels to chose from with their dimensions the focal point can be predetermined with your desired proportions. Our styles range from Mediterranean, Traditional, Contemporary and Craftsman. These mantels are in stock and are available for delivery.
